Sabbatical Day 22

Started reviewing Larry Kudlow’s National Review columns from the early 2000s.  Kudlow is one of the nation’s leading advocate of supply side policies, namely, tax cuts, easy money, deregulation. etc., to stimulate the economy and keep the welfare state intact.

N.J. Senate votes to curb prescriptions of opioid painkillers

Another example of the welfare state mentality infecting legislators from both parties.  Mandating health insurance coverage is a knee jerk reaction to a personal and family problem.  Higher premiums are coming.
