ACLU: It’s time to legalize prostitution

06 Jul

If the nation’s oldest civil libertarian organization was consistent, they would be advocating more libertarian proposals. Then, the freedom/liberty revolution would have a great ally.

“It’s time to stop sweeping consenting adult sex workers into the criminal justice system. We need models that protect their rights, their health and their safety.”

Matt Damon calls for U.S. to ban guns ‘in one fell swoop’

06 Jul

Matt should focus his energies on making good films and not sound like a doofus when it comes to the Second Amendment.  Confiscating firearms is the mind of a totalitarian.  And what is “common sense gun reform”?  In New Jersey, the Second Amendment is virtually nonexistent.  In public we are defenseless against the criminals who can get all the firearms they want in the black market.  Only the super wealthy with armed bodyguards can be so cavalier about the right to self defense.

“Hollywood actor Matt Damon used a press conference in Australia over the Fourth of July weekend to discuss his desire for a massive confiscation of U.S. guns.”

The FBI’s double standard

05 Jul

Whatever credibility the FBI has had as an objective crime fighting organization went out the window today.

“Nishimura caused the materials to be downloaded and stored on his personal, unclassified electronic devices and storage media. He carried such classified materials on his unauthorized media when he traveled off-base in Afghanistan and, ultimately, carried those materials back to the United States at the end of his deployment. The investigation did not reveal evidence that Nishimura intended to distribute classified information to unauthorized personnel.”

FBI’s Comey says ‘no reasonable prosecutor’ would bring a case against Clinton for emails

05 Jul

Hillary dodges a first bullet.  Now it is up to the Department of Justice to determine if it will bring charges. If the DOJ does not charge Hillary, the American people will be the ultimate judges in November.

Listening to FBI Director Comey lay out the Bureau’s findings, there was “no criminal intent” by Hillary.  Yet, she was incredibly “extremely careless”.  And she wants to be president.  Competency is not her strong point.

We shall soon see if Stone is on the money.  If his prediction comes true, will this cost Hillary the election as Ford’s pardon of Nixon in 1974 contributed to his defeat by Carter in 1976.
