Impeach Obama…and most of Congress, too

21 Mar

The United States and other nations have launched a so-called humanitarian military campaign sanctioned by the United Nations against Libyan dictator Muammar Khadafy because he continues a relentless assault against a rebel uprising.  The principle that a world organization can approve an attack on a sovereign nation—admittedly a country run by a dictator—is the height of arrogance and in the final analysis self defeating.

Despite campaigning as a “peace” candidate in 2008, President Obama has revealed he supports the warfare state as much as his predecessor George W. Bush supported, and really loves the welfare state probably more than any other president who occupied the Oval Office with the passage of ObamaCare and his unprecedented massive deficit spending to “stimulate” the economy.  In addition, Obama is no protector of civil liberties, having supported an extension of the Patriot Act.  Moreover, let us not forget the gross violations of the American people’s Fourth Amendment’s rights by the TSA at our nation’s airports.

In short, President Obama has given us George Bush’s third term.

Obama is getting a “pass” from his supporters just as GOP members of Congress cheered George Bush’s expansion of the welfare-warfare state during his two terms.

Meanwhile, virtually everyone in Congress supports two Ponzi schemes—Social Security and Medicare—and one massive fraud, Medicaid.  They also support legalized counterfeiting, the endless debasement of the dollar by the Federal Reserve.  Moreover, bipartisanship is alive and well in Congress; both Republicans and Democrats support endless military intervention around the world.

The bottom line is that President Obama and members of Congress have violated their oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  They have systematically violated the civil liberties of the American people, have waged war against nations that were and are not a threat to the national security of the United States, have condoned the printing of money and the manipulation of interest rates which is stealing from savers, have continued to fund agencies and departments that are not authorized by the Constitution, and have encroached on the prerogatives of states and the people by ignoring the Tenth Amendment.

The bottom line—President Obama and most members of Congress do not deserve to be in office.  The first order of business is to impeach Obama, try him in the United States Senate, boot him from office so he can go back to Chicago and become one of Mayor Emmanuel’s advisors.  Members of Congress can then do a public mea culpa; if they fail to admit they have erred in their ways, they too should be impeached ASAP.  Unfortunately, there are probably not enough members of Congress to hold hearings on impeaching the transgressors.
